Among plants that cause skin reactions are poison ivy, nettles, hogweed, & prima. Itching, burning & blistering may develop. In some people, skin reactions can be very severe. Treat by thoroughly washing affected area, sponge with alcohol & apply calamine lotion. Wash any clothing which has come into contact with the plant. If reaction is severe, seek medical advice.
